GOSH 9 Shade Eye Palette Review

Hey guys!

It’s slowly but surely coming out of winter now and I wanted to share this with you as they are mostly darker colours. This GOSH eye shadow palette comes in 3 variations all base on cities, New York, Vegas and LA with colours matching appropriately.

I chose ‘…to enjoy in New York’ as the colours are the colours that I most commonly use so without further ado, lets get reviewing!

As always, the packaging always gets me. I like the packaging of this palette and I feel like that’s important when you are buying a product. Am I happy with the overall product- all of it? If they answer is yes, then you’re onto a winner. I really like that on the back there is a strip to show you the colours within the palette and don’t even get me started on the matte black… yes.. MATTE BLACK case itself. It’s so beautiful I just want to carry it with me always.

I love love love that this palette features a mirror and a mighty big one at that! It just screams out to be a travel palette as it is so sturdy and versatile. As you can see the colours in this palette are gorgeous and you get a lot of product with each one – 1.3 grams to be exact – but i’ll go into more detail on the colours in the next few photos.

The first shadow (left) is a brilliant metallic white shadow that has wonderful pigmentation for being so brilliant.
The middle shadow is my favourite shadow in the whole palette and is no doubt the one I use the most. It is a shimmery off-white with a beautiful shine. It naturally just brightens the eye and is just purely wonderful.
This final colour on this row is a shimmery peach shade. Its a classic peach melba colour and I think it could be used in a variety of ways. It works extra well as a natural inner corner highlight.

This next row are the deeper, more purple tones. The first shade is a grey purple. This is very metallic and I find it to be one of the more unique shades in the palette.
The centre colour is the colour that attracted me to buy this palette. It’s a deep, richly pigmented purple that just applies like a dream. It has the power to make any eye colour pop.
The final shade on this row is more pink/mauve toned. Its one of the more matte tones although none of the shades in this palette are completely matte. IMG_4166

And on the bottom left of the palette is a yellow-tones grey which sounds horrendous but is actually a very unique and powerful colour. Its got a very velvety texture which makes it nice to work with.
The middle shade is another of my personal favourites (I adore the whole middle column). Its a metallic space grey – think iPhone grey. It’s so pigmented and it is neutral toned so will work on anyone.
The final colour in this palette is a chocolate brown with gold shimmer in it as it makes a wonderful deepening shade for the outer corner.

Overall, this palette is staple in my collection now due to the velvety smoothness of the pigments as well as how easy it is to work/blend with them. I am so happy with this palette and it is so worth the £9.99 it costs!
I hope you enjoyed this review and I’ll see you next time!
