As some of you may know, it was my birthday last week – I turned 17 and was truly spoilt rotten! I thought today I would show you some of the things that I got for my birthday!
Disclaimer: this is not me by any means bragging about what I got – I am very grateful for all these gifts and the people who gave them are well aware of that! I feel extremely lucky to get these things and absolutely do not take it for granted!
The very first surprise I woke up to on my birthday was my very own personalised bunting!
I had a party to celebrate but requested that I didn’t want presents. Instead I donated all money that was given to me to Marie Curie Cancer Care which I am really pleased about. Some friends however where naughty and bought me something extra!
I got this Baylis&Harding hand wash and lotion set from my friend Amy and it smells amazzzzzing!
My best friend bought me Frozen because it is one of my favourite films of all time! It also came with drinks and popcorn but as you can imagine – that has gone already! She also bought me these wicked Aztec/tribal print rings from H&M.
My friend Charlie got me this handmade little ‘L’ pendant necklace and I love the colours of it!
And of course many people bought me sweets and treats too! I would picture them all but most of them have been eaten already! Whoops!
My other very good friend Taylor got me this perfume from Givenchy! It’s called ‘Very Irresistible’ and I can tell why because it smells so good!
This one was a bit of a treat to myself! I got the Urban Decay Naked 3 Palette (review coming soon) from eBay with some of the money that I was given by family members!
My brothers girlfriend Leighann got me my first bit of Benefit makeup! She got me ‘The Bronze of Champions’ set which includes testers of lots of products (I’ll also be reviewing this!)
I’ve been wanting a painting easel for a while now but never could find one I liked. My brother got me this one and I love it! It has adjustable height, a strong backboard and the back of it can turn into a travel case so there are lots of compartments when I can put my supplies! He also bought me my first driving lesson!
Speaking of driving, my parents absolutely outdid themselves this year by getting me a car!! I’m not putting up a photo for obvious privacy reasons but to say I’m in love would be a total understatement! As for the driving – it’s going okay! I’ll keep you posted!
Those are all the things I got for my birthday along with some money and gift vouchers from family which has been put away!
I hope you enjoyed this post – maybe if you know someone like me you could get some inspiration on what to buy them!
