I love all things tribal and with it still being so in trend I thought a tribal nail design would be great for this weeks tutorial. I’ve been at school for the past couple of week so unfortunately I can’t paint my nails which is why it is done on a false nail but it is just as easy to recreate on yourself!
I took my inspiration from these shorts that I bought…
Especially this pattern.
Start by applying a base coat to strength and protect your natural nails.
Then paint your nail a base colour. This could be any colour but I think silver or white would work best.
Then create a diamond pattern along the nail in a coral pink colour and add an orange tail. Create a blue line perpendicular to the orange tail and finish off with two green ‘C’s attached to the blue line.
This step is optional but I decided to add some rhinestones to my design. To do this simply apply a top coat to the area that you would like to apply a rhinestone and then using a toothpick, pick it up and place it on.
Once the polish has dried apply a top coat to seal the design and prevent chipping.
That’s all there is to it. As we leave the winter months, this bright design is looking forward to summer!
