The days surrounding Christmas day can often be classed as lazy days where you don’t make much of an effort. If however you are invited to somewhere you need to be able to get out the door quickly and are having a bad hair day, these five hairstyles take under 5 minutes to do and look adorable! These hairstyles are for medium-long hair and all you will need are some bobby pins, a hair tie and some hairspray.
All these hairstyles start by having your hair down.
This first style is so simple, take your hair over to one side and if you have layers, pin them down at the back to keep them secure. Then pin your fringe back leaving a piece down on either side to frame your face. Then braid the rest of your hair down and secure with a hair tie.
Pull your hair into a loose ponytail and secure with a hair tie. If you want to make the hairstyle a bit more fancy, take a few short bits of hair and then wrap them around the base of the ponytail and pin them down with bobby pins.
Start this hairstyle the same way that you started hairstyle 1. Pin your fringe back and then secure your layers. Instead of braiding the hair scrunch it up in your hand and tie it into a loose bun with a hair tie. Pin it onto your hair until you are happy with it and then you have a perfect messy side bun!
This is by far the easiest off the tutorials. With your hair completely down take the two sections on either side of your head that frame your face and pin them back loosely. I love this hairstyle and it takes about 30 seconds to do! Amazing!
For the final style you want to start, again by pinning back your fringe and leaving down some side pieces. Secure your hair into a low ponytail. You can leave the hairstyle like this but if you want to make it a bit more interesting, take a small section and braid it. I did a fishtail braid as I prefer those. Once it is finished spray the end with a bit of hairstyle and let it dry. This will keep the braid together until it is brushed out and this saves any ugly hair ties.
That’s it! This was my last post of the 12 Days of Christmas. I hope you enjoyed them as much as I enjoyed doing them and if you came back every day to view, thank you! 🙂 I hope everyone has a very Merry Christmas and has a great day!
