I bought this pretty little bracelet in Fat Face a few months ago and fell in love with the print of it so decided that I would transfer that print onto my nails! This is the perfect look for spring/summer as it is subtle but so elegant and feminine!
All you’ll need for this tutorial is some nail polishes, a scrap piece of paper and a toothpick or some nail art brushes if you have them.
Start with a base coat to protect and strengthen your natural nails. Once this has dried, paint your nails with two coats of a white polish. I’m using Matt White (Colour 66) by Barry M.
Then, taking the design from a section of the bracelet (or template or picture you are using) use the toothpick to copy the print onto the nail. I started by creating a heart shape with a light blue polish (Blue Moon – 317 from Barry M) then using a darker blue (Cyan Blue – 294 from Barry M) create stems and leaves on the nail. I made a darkened pale pink by mixing LA Colours pink striper polish with a pale shimmery pink by 17 and with this colour made more petals. Once this had all dried, shade the necessary sections with a gold polish.
Repeat his step with every nail, taking a different section of the pattern and copying it.
Once the nails are fully dried, add a top coat to seal and protect the designs.
I hoped you enjoyed this pretty spring/summer tutorial and found it helpful!
