Hello you lovely lot!
I haven’t done a nail tutorial in what feels like a lifetime so today I thought I would do one for you! Unfortunately there is no video this week as I have just started back to school and am still trying to adjust and get myself into a filming schedule! I hope you don’t mind!
Nail wraps are huge with all the big name polish brands coming out with new ones every month! There is one reason for them being so popular. They are easy.
A manicure that looks professionally done, is super inexpensive and you don’t have to wait for it to dry! What could be better?
Some people think that they can be a bit tricky to apply so I made this tutorial to show you just how it’s done!
For this tutorial you will need your chosen nail wraps, a pair of nail scissors and then a small nail file.
You are going to want to start with clean, polish-free nails. I would suggest lightly filing all over the surface of the nail as this will get the nail a bit rougher so that the wrap has something to stick to!
In a standard pack of wraps it is likely that there will be a variation of sizes. Work out what size is needed for each nail (don’t worry about length, focus on getting the correct shape of the nail) and lay them out in the correct order. This will prevent confusion later on. Remember that you may need to trim some to fit the nail exactly.
Now to apply them! Take off the clear plastic to reveal the nail and then peel the wrap off the backing.
Once you have got the wrap seperate, apply it directly to the centre of the nail and then using your finger, press the wrap along all sides of your nail to smooth it off making sure there are no air bubbles.
Taking the nail scissors, trim it to the right length and then file off the end to make it neat and tidy.
Repeat it with the rest of the fingers and that’s it! One perfect manicure in 10 minutes!
I hope you guys enjoyed this tutorial and I promise there will be a video next week! If you haven’t seen them all you can catch up here and subscribe so you don’t miss any!
Or maybe you like these step-by-step posts better? Let me know!
I hope you have had a fabulous week and I will see you guys soon!
